schwung-midiverb
Schwung audio-FX module that emulates the Alesis Midiverb, Midifex, and Midiverb II rack reverbs (1986, 13-bit DASP DSP at 23.4 kHz).
DSP based on thement/midiverb_emulator (GPL-3.0).
You must supply the ROMs
The effects are the units' own DSP programs, and they are not ours to
distribute: no ROMs and no effect algorithms are included. The module
runs each unit's program ROM on a cycle-accurate interpreter of its DASP
DSP. Upload your own dumps on the module's page in Schwung Manager (or
copy them into the module's roms/ folder):
| Unit | File | Size |
|---|---|---|
| Midiverb | midiverb.rom | 16384 bytes |
| Midifex | midifex.rom | 16384 bytes |
| Midiverb II | midiverb2.rom | 32768 bytes |
Any subset works. A unit without its ROM is marked (no ROM) in the Unit
menu and passes audio through unchanged.
Versions before 0.3.0 bundled decompiled copies of the effect programs. They were removed in 0.3.0.
