FirmwareM-VAVE FM-1

Berlinan

jiripisa/fm1-berlinan · ★ 5

Turns the M-VAVE FM-1 into a generative Berlin School sequencer. Voices repeat on loops of unequal length and slowly mutate, with each one sent over MIDI to your own synths. The FM-1 itself makes no sound.

  • Needs external synths and a USB MIDI router
  • Six save slots and seven panel pages
  • Installs from Chrome or Edge

About this project

This is the FM-1 version of Berlinan for macOS, so the box can run the sequencer without a laptop. You play it from the panel, and connect it over USB to a MIDI router that feeds your synths.

It can be the MIDI clock master or follow incoming clock. You can install it from a page in Chrome or Edge, and the same page offers M-VAVE's firmware. There's also a browser demo.
